Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data & Tracking Implementation Specialist to join our Data team. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and efficient data tracking across all paid media channels, with a strong focus on server-side tracking, GA4, Meta (Facebook), TikTok, and app event tracking. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with API-based lead generation tracking, pixel/tag implementations, and custom conversion setups across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot tracking systems for paid media campaigns across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and other programmatic platforms.
  • Set up and maintain server-side tracking (e.g., Meta CAPI, Google Tag Server container) to improve data accuracy and privacy compliance.
  • Configure and optimize Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for advanced event tracking and custom reporting.
  • Implement and maintain SDK- and MMP-based app tracking (e.g., Firebase, AppsFlyer, Adjust) for mobile performance campaigns.
  • Integrate and test CRM and lead generation APIs, ensuring that leads are tracked and attributed correctly to their paid media sources.
  • Collaborate with media buyers and developers to ensure tracking accuracy across web, app, and CRM systems.
  • Set up and test custom conversion events and goals, including first-party data strategies and cookie-less tracking techniques.
  • Monitor data quality, identify anomalies, and implement solutions to maintain high tracking accuracy.
  • Document all tracking setups and maintain clear implementation guides for internal and client reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a tracking, analytics, or media tech role within a digital marketing or advertising agency.
  • Advanced understanding of Meta Conversions API, TikTok Events API, and similar server-side tracking solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of GA4 – event tagging, custom dimensions/metrics, and BigQuery exports.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager (Web & Server) for tag implementation and debugging.
  • Understanding of mobile app tracking (iOS/Android) and experience with MMPs such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Firebase.
  • Familiarity with lead generation funnel tracking including integrations with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Technical experience working with API endpoints, webhooks, and browser/server-based data layers.
  • Ability to work with developers to implement or troubleshoot data layer issues, JS events, or custom scripts.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Language proficiency in English is a must.
  • Experience with privacy-compliant tracking solutions (e.g., Consent Mode, first-party tracking).
  • Knowledge of tools like Postman, Data Studio/Looker, and tag debugging tools (e.g., Meta Pixel Helper, GA Debugger).
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript and how it relates to front-end tracking.
  • Google and Meta certifications related to measurement and tracking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics or data science is preferred
