THE CHALLENGE

Effect Doctors, a premium London-based clinic, faced a significant challenge in establishing its digital presence in Saudi Arabia. Its UK-centric domain suppressed relevance in the KSA market, causing local users to be routed to wrong-region pages. This resulted in a poor user experience and numerous KSA-specific URLs failing to be indexed by search engines.

The key objectives were to:

  • Establish a Trusted Presence: Build a strong reputation for IV therapy and NAD+ treatments in Riyadh and Jeddah, catering to both Arabic and English-speaking clients.
  • Localize Search Visibility: Shift organic traffic and authority from the UK-focused domain to a new, localized KSA architecture to attract the right audience.
  • Win Category Intent: Dominate search results for high-value services like IV Drips, NAD+, Glutathione, and OligoScan to drive qualified enquiries.
  • Drive Organic Growth: Significantly increase organic users, clicks, and impressions within the KSA market.
  • Boost Lead Conversion: Achieve a substantial increase in qualified form submissions from potential patients in Saudi Arabia.

THE SOLUTION

To reposition a UK-named brand for the KSA market without a domain change, we executed a high-impact, low-risk architectural playbook. Our strategy was centered on four pillars: local re-architecture, category leadership, digital authority, and technical excellence.

The key initiatives included:

  • Local Re-architecture and Technical SEO: We launched new /sa (Arabic) and /sa-en (English) subfolders to correct the UK bias and send clear geo-language signals to search engines. This involved a full technical audit, implementing hreflang tags, mapping over 300 redirects from legacy paths, and submitting new KSA-specific XML sitemaps to ensure proper indexing.
  • Building Category Leadership with Bilingual Content: We rebuilt the core service categories (IV Drips, NAD+, Glutathione) with a new information architecture, creating clear user journeys from benefits to safety. We developed bilingual content hubs and FAQs in Arabic and English, optimized for both user intent and AI-driven answer engines.
  • Establishing Authority and Local Presence: We focused on building local trust and relevance by securing guest posts on relevant KSA websites and optimizing Google Business Profiles for the Riyadh and Jeddah clinics. This broadened the clinic’s non-brand reach in Arabic search results.
  • Ensuring Technical Excellence: We performed a full site-speed audit, implementing media compression, deferring non-critical scripts, and cleaning up core templates to improve Core Web Vitals. We also refreshed the schema markup for medical services and FAQs to enhance visibility in search results

THE RESULTS

The localization strategy successfully turned traffic into measurable demand, unlocking indexation and relevance in the KSA market and producing a clear step-change in visibility and leads. The strategic re-architecture and category UX changes didn’t just bring more visitors; they converted them at a double-digit rate, exceeding every campaign objective.

The key results include:

  • Exponential Lead Generation: The most impactful result was a massive boost in business outcomes, with qualified form submissions skyrocketing from 16 to 1,563—an incredible +9,569% increase.
  • Surpassed All Traffic & Visibility Goals: The subfolder implementation drove a significant surge in core metrics, with organic users and sessions growing by +62%, impressions by +121%, and clicks by over +71%. The campaign surpassed its primary targets, achieving over 10,200 organic users (vs. a 6,000 target) and 12,300 clicks (vs. a 6,000 target).
  • Achieved Widespread Keyword Dominance: The strategy established broad authority, growing the number of keywords in Top 1-10 positions from 12 to 132. The most valuable keywords in Top 1-5 positions saw exceptional growth, jumping from 7 to 85.
  • Strengthened Digital Authority: The content and link acquisition program proved highly effective, increasing the site’s Moz Domain Authority (DA) from 7 to 12 in just three months.
  • Secured Key AI Visibility: The strategy successfully established Effect Doctors as a credible source for AI-generated answers, with the Riyadh branch frequently cited as a recommended provider for NAD+ and IV therapy-related queries.
