Job Title: Account Strategist (Saudi Arabia)

Department: Client Services

Reports To: Head of Client Services 

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Objective:

The Account Strategist is a key role in ensuring client success and driving strategic alignment. This role is responsible for leading the strategy and planning phase of client projects, conducting quarterly strategic reviews, and fostering strong client relationships. The Account Strategist will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients towards achieving their marketing goals and maximizing the value of their retainers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning:
  • Lead the strategy and planning phase for new client projects.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery and audits to understand client needs and goals.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Define SMART goals, KPIs, and measurement frameworks.
  • Create detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Deliver compelling strategy presentations to clients.
  • Quarterly Strategic Reviews:
  • Conduct quarterly strategic reviews with clients.
  • Analyze campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Realign strategies and tactics based on client feedback and market trends.
  • Ensure client goals and KPIs are being met.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with clients.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic discussions.
  • Proactively address client concerns and provide timely solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and reports.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Internal Collaboration:
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., Paid Media, SEO, Social Media, Content).
  • Ensure seamless execution of client strategies across departments.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes.

Duties and Tasks:

  • Conduct client kick-off meetings and workshops.
  • Perform website and social media audits.
  • Develop buyer persona profiles.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Create marketing strategies and campaign plans.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations.
  • Conduct quarterly strategic review meetings.
  • Analyze campaign performance data.
  • Generate client reports and insights.
  • Manage client communication and expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on project execution.
  • Maintain accurate client records in HubSpot CRM.
  • Utilize Asana for project management and task tracking.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing or client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies.
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM and Asana (or similar project management tools).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach.

 Specific Requirements for Saudi Arabia:

  • Saudi Arabia:
  • Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Saudi National
  • Knowledge of the Saudi Arabian marketing landscape.
  • Understanding of cultural nuances and business practices in Saudi Arabia.
