Job Overview
As the Content Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies, managing content creation, and ensuring that the content aligns with the company’s goals and brand voice. Your primary focus will be on digital content, including website content, blog posts, social media, and other online platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a content strategy that supports the organization’s marketing and communication objectives including all necessary research under guidance from Team Lead.
- Generate high-quality and engaging content, including articles, blog posts, infographics, and other longer formats. Ensure any AI-generated content complies with company AI policy and is โhumanisedโ in the required tone of voice and free of inconsistencies.ย
- Create and manage a content calendar to ensure consistent, timely, and relevant content distribution under the guidance of the Team Lead.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and ranking on search engines. Perform keyword research and analysis.
- Review and edit content to maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of content using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other analytics platforms. Use data to make data-driven decisions and refine content strategies.
- Amend/revise content by incorporating feedback on drafts, displaying a commitment to improvement and continuous learning.
- Ensure that all content complies with copyright laws, privacy regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Proficiency in using CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or others to publish and manage web content.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Content Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO and content optimization.
- Proficiency in content management systems and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Analytical mindset to measure and interpret content performance.
- Creative thinking and the ability to adapt to changing trends.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
