O-City - SEO

O-City: Paving The Way For a Smarter Tomorrow

Adopted by over 130 cities worldwide, O-City is an innovative, automated fare collection solution designed by BPC, a leading banking and payment firm.

O-City approached Home of Performance with their newly designed website

which was struggling to meet their intended objectives. Through our SEO efforts, O-City was able to position itself at the top of the SERP for the top priority KW’s and showed a tremendous increase of almost 350.67% in the number of users.

Challenges

Despite coming from the strong BPC family, O-City was new to the market having little or no visibility in the SERP when we started. By collaborating with HOP, they needed to increase their organic growth by a steady 40%, rank for high priority business keywords and place itself as one of the most powerful solution providers organically.

Our Solution

We focused on:

  • Developing an extensive keyword research and mapping URL by URL
  • Restructuring the URL and optimising Meta Title, descriptions and Headers based on the keyword mapping, ensuring that the top priority keywords were included in the elements
  • Implementing internationalization with sub-directory model
  • Focusing on a specific country and language.
  • Crafting a well-defined content strategy merged with case studies and success stories.
  • Creating a strategic approach to link-building
  • Building an outreach program to produce 05+ guest posts on highly relevant sites each month.

Impact

  • Despite being a new website, we were able to position O-City as the top brand in the market.
  • We witnessed a significant increase in visibility with almost 12 top priority KW ranking in the top 3 of the SERP. The priority KW, “open-loop payments” is in the featured snippet.
  • Over the course of the campaign, we recorded a remarkable increase in the number of users by 350. 37%
  • There was a notable increase in website traffic by nearly 332.14%
